Celtics lose, Patrions win a thriller in November

After a thrilling Patriots victory Sunday over the Giants on a last second 54 yard FG, I made it to TD Garden Wed. 11/18/15 to catch the Celtics take on the Mavericks.  I have not seen a live NBA game in years.   The Celtics started off strong in the 1st quarter, putting up 31 points but faded in the 4th and lost 106-102. It was nice to be able to see the legendary Dirk Nowitzki,

I started up in section 310

I moved down to floor for the end of the game.  The Peter Griffin-like security guard was keeping close watch on an obnoxious drunk

2015 World Series

KC takes a 2-0 lead heading to NYC to face the Mets.  Johnny Cueto pitches a CG and probably earns himself a huge contract.  I hope it's NOT the Red Sox, since Cueto seems to inconsistent to me although I love his Luis Tiant like delivery and those dreadlocks.

Frozen Four and the Friars

What an exciting Frozen Four in Boston.  I was able to see PC Friars beat Nebraska-Omaha in the semifinals on Thursday 4/9/15 and then see the Friars rally to beat BU and take the national championship.  A great hockey weekend ended with a PBruins loss Sunday 4/12/15, and the Boston Bruins failure to reach the postseason, but it was still a grand weekend of 4 hockey game in 4 days.

Providence College Hockey on to the Frozen Four 2015

Providence College won another regional tournament game on the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence Sunday night, March 29, 2015 at a game I attended. PC heads to the Frozen Four in Boston for the first time since 1985 to face the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks

Needless to say it was an exciting night at the Dunk, as the Friars broke the 1-1 time after a 5 minute major penalty on the Denver Pioneers.  PC added a couple of empty netters to win 4-1.

PC got there by beating Miami (Ohio) Saturday night (3/28/15), holding on to win 7-5 after being up 6-2.

We were near a section of Denver fans and the Denver mascot.  As they said to us after Denver tied up 1-1, we are out numbered 6,000 to 5.

Here's the final scoreboard and a PC celebration on the "jumbletron"
